IndyCal Capital is a private, veteran-owned investment company focused on acquiring, repositioning, and operating Multifamily and Mixed-use real estate in select US markets. With a strong background in the capital markets, we partner with professionals local to each asset that specialize in brokerage, construction, legal, and property management.

Our Team


Christopher Starr

As Principal at IndyCal Capital, Christopher overseas all business operations with a focus on finding and funding deals that fit within our investment strategy.

Christopher started his real estate career after serving five years in the Navy. Since 2004, Christopher worked in real estate finance, banking, and real estate capital markets and investments.


Patrick McCary

As an Acquisition Associate at IndyCal Capital, Patrick is focused on identifying and underwriting multifamily acquisitions in the Texas markets. Patrick studied at Penn State University, along with the commercial real estate program at Cornell.

Patrick served as a Navy SEAL, prior to working over 13 years in government operations and consulting.



Eric Stewart

Capital Markets & Investments

Eric Stewart is the owner of Atlantic Business Capital, Inc. a full service commercial lending advisory & brokerage firm. Eric has been structuring finance solutions for both Commercial real estate investors and business owners since 1996 with products ranging from equipment leases to commercial real estate loans as well as assumption representation & consulting. In addition to providing debt & equity solutions to commercial real estate investors, Eric currently holds partnership interest in over 750 multifamily units throughout the Southeast as well as residential & mixed-use properties in the Midwestern United States.


Aaron Gilbert

Property Management & Consulting

Aaron Gilbert is Vice President of Sales and Operations at Hayes Gibson Property Services.

Since 1952, Hayes Gibson Property Services (HGPS) has grown to become a nationally recognized leader in multifamily housing management. As a NAHMA top 100 affordable housing management agent in the country, HGPS specializes in property management and consulting of HUD, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, Conventional Market-Rate, and Student Housing Communities.
The Hayes Gibson portfolio of properties currently consists of over 6,000 Units across 13 states nationwide. Our expertise lies in the stabilization of distressed multifamily properties, HUD, and Low Income Housing Tax Credit property types with an emphasis on curb appeal, tenant compliance, financial stability, and return to owner.


Tim Wright

Commercial Construction & Development

Tim Wright, P.E. is the Founder of WRIGHT Company Inc., a licensed Professional Civil Engineer, and a LEED accredited professional. His experience in real estate development led to assisting clients in the art of creating incredible projects using design and construction project management, building operations, asset management, and real estate project development skills and expertise. He is a graduate of Auburn University.
